Hello My Fellow Readers!
We made it through Friday the 13th in 2020. It has to be about over … right? Onward to better times!
I hope you’ve been enjoying my posts and reviews!
I have a small favor to ask? Will you leave a review for my trilogy boxset? Just click HERE…
Reviews are SOOOO important for authors. Thank you so much!
Now, for what you’ve been waiting for. … This week’s book review…
Author: Tracy Wolff
Book: Crave
If you liked Twilight and want a book that is very similar then this is the book for you. It covered many of the same plot points. It had all the “feels” of young love. The sexual tension was palpable throughout. Tracy captured the voice of teenage girls well. She has the genre (paranormal romance) down pat!
The end was full of suspense that will keep you reading.
Heat Level: Steamy. In place of traditional sex there was tons of sexual tension that drips from every page if not every sentence. No outright sex but rather it was vampire “sex” — very pleasurable blood sucking, which is arguably a metaphor for sex.
This could be a good topic for debate. Vampires have been a creature that has evolved through the ages and survived in our literature over the centuries.
What does the vampire represent for humans? For mortality, that we keep coming back to this fascinating creature in our fiction?
What are your thoughts?
As always I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours in reading!
